In Nanjing, one of the 60 drivers stopped by police was found to have a BAC level over 0.2 mg/ml.

Global Actions in Focus: Thailand Situation Assessment

ICAP has commissioned a research team from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) to conduct an assessment of the drink driving situation in Thailand. The assessment will address policies, institutional frameworks, and current programs focused on drink driving prevention.
Researchers are focusing on six key program elements: data; the extent/nature of the problem; stakeholders and their roles; institutional capacity; interventions; and behavior. NRCT is making progress with the assessment, collecting data and conducting in-depth interviews. A meeting to analyze the situation is scheduled for October 21, and a first draft of the completed Situation Assessment is expected by the end of October.
